Los analistas de los asuntos mundiales tienden a caer en ciertas trampas sobre las motivaciones y el comportamiento de los actores políticos. Constantemente miramos el apoyo electoral de los políticos, el acceso de los estados a los recursos, las líneas de ofensa o defensa, las alianzas tradicionales y las enemistades, los beneficios de los intereses potenciados, la geografía, la demografía y muchos otros factores objetivos.

Pero las motivaciones subjetivas ideológicas, espirituales y morales que se elevan en las acciones autoconscientes de los movers y shakers rara vez reciben la atención que merecen. 

Es decir, ¿qué piensan los presidentes, los ministros de gobierno, los oficiales militares, los burócratas, los oligarcas y los gurús de las ONG mismos cuando abogan por o contra un cierto conjunto de políticas?

A veces las respuestas parecen no tener ningún sentido en términos de los análisis habituales de los "intereses" objetivos. 

La resolución más fácil de esos rompecabezas se encuentra generalmente en la navaja de Occam: sólo seguir el dinero. 

Alguien, en algún lugar, está ganando dinero. 

Por lo general, un montón de dólares.

Pero incluso el rastro del dinero no responde a algunas preguntas. Por ejemplo, como parte de su política exterior, ¿por qué los gobiernos occidentales (norteamericanos y europeos occidentales), las ONG, etc., insisten en exigir una acción sobre un programa "progresista" para promover cuestiones de "género" como el matrimonio entre personas del mismo sexo , "" Transgenderism ", y así sucesivamente? 

Después de todo, si los estadounidenses quieren bombear a los niños pequeños llenos de hormonas de "reasignación de género", o si los ciudadanos de California desean someter a los niños del jardín de infantes a una abominación como "hora de la historia de drag queen", eso sería bastante malo . 

Ciertamente en la plenitud del tiempo habrá bastantes piedras de molino y profundidades del mar, hablando en sentido figurado, para dar a los culpables sus justos postres. 

(Por cierto, por favor, puede prescindir de la noción de que LGBTQI-etc "reclutamiento" de los niños es sólo una fantasía paranoica de "odiosos"

 Si "hora de la historia drag queen" no es la contratación en primer lugar, una mentalidad, Estados Unidos puede estar orgulloso de no tener leyes malas como las que tienen en Rusia para proteger a los niños de la "propaganda de relaciones sexuales no tradicionales".

La demanda del Oeste por nuevos valores sociales y morales post-cristianos es un peligro particular para algunos de los países que surgieron del comunismo en los años noventa. 

Paradójicamente, dada la afirmación marxista-leninista de ser la ciencia sin Dios del progreso social, la Europa central y oriental poscomunista es generalmente mucho más tradicional y - ¿nos atrevemos a decirlo? - Cristiana, si no particularmente de iglesia, en su conciencia social comparada con Occidente. 

Tal vez esto se debe a que el materialismo comunista fue un fracaso en comparación con el materialismo consumista que el Occidente proporcionó un terreno mucho más fértil para transformar una ideología de la lucha de clases en una lucha contra los valores espirituales y morales sobre los que se basa la sociedad. 

La paradoja es que hoy en día las raíces de lo que antiguamente se conocía como Cristiandad todavía son relativamente más fuertes en el Este - y por lo tanto deben ser destruidas.

De ahí las amenazas de los gobiernos occidentales a algunos países - Polonia, Hungría, Rusia, Bielorrusia, Serbia, Ucrania, Georgia, etc. - de mejorar su desempeño de "derechos humanos" en "cuestiones de género". 

¡Reconocer las uniones de personas del mismo sexo! ¡Pretende que los chicos pueden convertirse en chicas y viceversa! O bien - sanciones! 

(Presiones similares se aplican a los países mayoritariamente cristianos de África subsahariana.) 

Los países islámicos son extrañamente inmunes a las críticas.

Como sucede, hay un modelo de décadas para el imperialismo basado en la degeneración sexual. 

Se encuentra en un lugar poco probable, la novela A Confederacy of Dunces de John Kennedy Toole. 

Escrito en 1963, pero no publicado hasta 1980, el libro toma su título del epigrama del ensayo de Jonathan Swift, Pensamientos sobre varios temas, Moral y Desvío: 

"Cuando un verdadero genio aparece en el mundo, usted puede conocerlo por este signo, que todos los burros están en unidos contra él ".

En este caso, el genio en cuestión es el protagonista ficticio de Toole, el brillante pero perezoso Ignatius J. Reilly (un discípulo del filósofo tardío-romano Boethius), que encuentra en las calles de su Nueva Orleans natal un miembro de lo que hoy sería llamada minoría sexual. 

El encuentro de la ocasión chispea en Reilly una explosión audaz, revolucionaria de la penetración que cabe tan bien en nuestro mundo contemporáneo que es duro creer que es una pintura de hace más de medio siglo. 

No hay ninguna prueba de que este pasaje fue de hecho la inspiración para nuestros actuales fanáticos de la revolución imperialista de género, pero los sorprendentes paralelos, incluyendo un llamado al cambio de régimen en "países reaccionarios", hablan por sí solos:

"Mientras llevaba las suelas de mis botas desérticas hasta una mera mecha de goma de crepe sobre las viejas banquetas de losas del Cuarteto francés en mi febril intento de arrebatarme la vida a una sociedad poco pensativa y despreocupada, fui aclamado por un viejo y querido conocido. 

Después de unos minutos de conversación en los que establecí más fácilmente mi superioridad moral sobre este degenerado, me encontré ponderando una vez más las crisis de nuestro tiempo. 

Mi mentalidad, incontrolable y desenfrenada como siempre, me susurró un esquema tan magnífico y audaz que me encogí de la idea misma de lo que estaba oyendo. "¡Alto!" Grité implorante a mi mente divina. "Esto es locura." 

Pero aún escuché el consejo de mi cerebro. Me estaba ofreciendo la oportunidad de salvar el mundo a través de la degeneración. 

Allí, sobre las piedras desgastadas del Cuarto, recluté la ayuda de esta flor marchita de un ser humano para reunir a sus asociados en un campo lleno de piedras detrás de una bandera de hermandad. 

"Nuestro primer paso será elegir a uno de su número en algún alto cargo - la presidencia, si Fortuna nos da ganas amablemente. Entonces se infiltrarán en los militares. 

Como soldados, todos estarán tan ocupados en confraternizar unos con otros, adaptar sus uniformes para que se ajusten a pieles de salchichas, inventar nuevos y variados vestidos de batalla, dar cócteles, etc., que nunca tendrán tiempo para la batalla. 

El que finalmente hacemos Jefe de Estado Mayor sólo querrá ocuparse de su guardarropa de moda, un vestuario que, alternativamente, le permitirá ser Jefe de Estado Mayor o debutante, ya que el deseo lo golpea.

 Al ver el éxito de sus compañeros unificados aquí, los pervertidos de todo el mundo también se unirán para capturar a los militares en sus respectivos países. 

En aquellos países reaccionarios en los que los desviados parecen estar teniendo problemas para hacerse con el control, les enviaremos ayuda como rebeldes para ayudarles a derrocar a sus gobiernos. 

Cuando por fin hemos derrocado a todos los gobiernos existentes, el mundo no gozará de la guerra, sino de las orgías globales conducidas con el máximo protocolo y el espíritu más internacional, porque estas personas trascienden las simples diferencias nacionales. 

Sus mentes están en una meta; están verdaderamente unidos; ninguno de los pederastas en el poder, por supuesto, será lo suficientemente práctico para saber acerca de dispositivos tales como las bombas; estas armas nucleares estarían podridas en sus bóvedas en alguna parte. 

De vez en cuando, el Jefe de Estado Mayor, el Presidente y así sucesivamente, vestidos con lentejuelas y plumas, entretendrán a los líderes, es decir, a los pervertidos, de todos los demás países en las bolas y las fiestas. 

Las peleas de cualquier tipo podían ser fácilmente arregladas en la sala de los hombres de las Naciones Unidas redecoradas. Ballets y musicales de Broadway y entretenimientos de ese tipo florecerán por todas partes y probablemente harán que la gente común sea más feliz que los pronunciamientos fascistas y hostiles de sus antiguos líderes. 

"Casi todos los demás han tenido la oportunidad de dirigir el mundo. No veo por qué no se debe dar a esta gente su oportunidad. 

Ciertamente han sido los desvalidos por el tiempo suficiente. 

Su movimiento hacia el poder será, en cierto sentido, sólo una parte del movimiento global hacia la oportunidad, la justicia y la igualdad para todos; (Por ejemplo, ¿se puede nombrar un buen travesti travestí en el Senado?) Estas personas han estado sin representación por un tiempo suficiente, su desgracia es nacional, global.)

The West’s Quest to ‘Save the World Through Degeneracy’

Analysts of world affairs tend to fall into certain traps concerning the motivations and behavior of political actors. We consistently look at politicians’ electoral support, states’ access to resources, lines of offense or defense, traditional alliances and enmities, the profits of empowered interests, geography, demography, and many other objective factors.

But the subjective ideological, spiritual, and moral motivations that loom high in the self-conscious actions of movers and shakers are seldom given the attention they deserve. That is, what do the presidents, government ministers, military officers, bureaucrats, oligarchs, and NGO gurus themselves think they are doing when they advocate for or against a certain set of policies?

Sometimes the answers seem to make no sense at all in terms of the usual analyses of objective “interests.” The easiest resolution to such puzzles is usually found in Occam’s razor: just follow the money. Somebody, somewhere, is making a buck. Usually lots of bucks.

But even the money trail fails to answer some questions. 

For example, as part of their foreign policies why are western (North American and western European) governments, NGOs, etc., so insistent on demanding action on a “progressive” program to advance “gender” issues such as same-sex “marriage,” “transgenderism,” and so forth? After all, if Americans want to pump little kids full of “gender-reassignment” hormones, or if the citizens of (big surprise) California wish to subject kindergarten children to an abomination like “drag queen story hour,” that would be bad enough. 

Certainly in the fullness of time there will be enough millstones and depths of the sea, figuratively speaking, to give the culpable their just desserts. (By the way, can we please dispense with the notion that LGBTQI-etc. “recruitment” of children is just a paranoid fantasy of “haters”? 

If “drag queen story hour” isn’t recruitment into, first, a mindset, and then in at least some cases, participation – then what is it? America can be proud we don’t have evil laws like they have in Russia aimed at protecting children from “propaganda of non-traditional sexual relationships.” The brutes!)

The West’s demand for new, post-Christian social and moral values is a particular danger to some of the countries that emerged from communism in the 1990s. 

Paradoxically, given Marxism-Leninism’s claim to be the godless science of social progress, post-communist Central and Eastern Europe is generally far more traditional and – dare we say it? – Christian, if not particularly churchgoing, in its social conscience compared to the West. Perhaps that is because communist materialism was such a failure compared to consumerist materialism that the West provided much more fertile ground for transforming an ideology of class struggle into a struggle against the spiritual and moral values upon which society is rooted.  The paradox is that today the roots of what was once quaintly known as Christendom are still relatively stronger in the East – and thus must be destroyed.

Hence the threats from western governments to some countries – Poland, Hungary, Russia, Belarus, Serbia, Ukraine, Georgia, etc. – to improve their “human rights” performance on “gender issues.” Hold a gay parade! Recognize same-sex unions! Pretend that boys can turn into girls and vice versa! Or else – sanctions! (Similar pressures are put on majority-Christian countries in sub-Saharan Africa. Islamic countries are oddly immune from criticism.)

As it happens, there is a decades-old blueprint for imperialism based on sexual degeneracy. It is found in an unlikely place, the novel A Confederacy of Dunces by John Kennedy Toole.  Written in 1963 but not published until 1980, the book takes its title from the epigram of Jonathan Swift’s essay, Thoughts on Various Subjects, Moral and Diverting: “When a true genius appears in the world, you may know him by this sign, that the dunces are all in confederacy against him.”

In this case, the genius in question is Toole’s fictional protagonist, the brilliant but lazy Ignatius J. Reilly (a disciple of the late-Roman philosopher Boethius), who encounters on the streets of his native New Orleans a member of what today would be called a sexual minority. 

The chance meeting sparks in Reilly a bold, revolutionary burst of insight that fits so well into our contemporary world that it’s hard to believe it’s a depiction from over half a century ago. There’s no proof that this passage was in fact the inspiration for our present-day fanatics of imperialist gender revolution, but the stunning parallels, including a call for regime change in “reactionary countries,” speak for themselves:

‘As I was wearing the soles of my desert boots down to a mere sliver of crepe rubber on the old flagstone banquettes of the French Quarter in my fevered attempt to wrest a living from an unthinking and uncaring society, I was hailed by a cherished old acquaintance (deviate). After a few minutes of conversation in which I established most easily my moral superiority over this degenerate, I found myself pondering once more the crises of our times. My mentality, uncontrollable and wanton as always, whispered to me a scheme so magnificent and daring that I shrank from the very thought of what I was hearing. “Stop!” I cried imploringly to my godlike mind. “This is madness.” But still I listened to the counsel of my brain. It was offering me the opportunity to Save the World Through Degeneracy. There on the worn stones of the Quarter I enlisted the aid of this wilted flower of a human in gathering his associates in foppery together behind a banner of brotherhood.

‘Our first step will be to elect one of their number to some very high office — the presidency, if Fortuna spins us kindly. Then they will infiltrate the military. As soldiers, they will all be so continually busy in fraternizing with one another, tailoring their uniforms to fit like sausage skins, inventing new and varied battle dress, giving cocktail parties, etc., that they will never have time for battle. The one whom we finally make Chief of Staff will want only to attend to his fashionable wardrobe, a wardrobe which, alternately, will permit him to be either Chief of Staff or debutante, as the desire strikes him. In seeing the success of their unified fellows here, perverts around the world will also band together to capture the military in their respective countries. In those reactionary countries in which the deviates seem to be having some trouble in gaining control, we will send aid to them as rebels to help them in toppling their governments. When we have at last overthrown all existing governments, the world will enjoy not war but global orgies conducted with the utmost protocol and the most truly international spirit, for these people do transcend simple national differences. Their minds are on one goal; they are truly united; they think as one.

‘None of the pederasts in power, of course, will be practical enough to know about such devices as bombs; these nuclear weapons would lie rotting in their vaults somewhere. From time to time the Chief of Staff, the President, and so on, dressed in sequins and feathers, will entertain the leaders, i.e., the perverts, of all the other countries at balls and parties. Quarrels of any sort could easily be straightened out in the men’s room of the redecorated United Nations. Ballets and Broadway musicals and entertainments of that sort will flourish everywhere and will probably make the common folk happier than did the grim, hostile, fascistic pronouncements of their former leaders.

‘Almost everyone else has had an opportunity to run the world. I cannot see why these people should not be given their chance. They have certainly been the underdog long enough. Their movement into power will be, in a sense, only a part of the global movement toward opportunity, justice, and equality for all; (For example, can you name one good, practicing transvestite in the Senate? No! These people have been without representation long enough. Their plight is a national, a global disgrace.)

‘Degeneracy, rather than signaling the downfall of a society, as it once did, will now signal peace for a troubled world. We must have new solutions to new problems.’
