Se filtra el documento definitivo de Tratado de Libre Comercio entre la Unión Europea y Canadá CETA
En el día de ayer se filtro el texto definitivo del Acuerdo de Libre Comercio entre la Unión Europea y Canadá, más conocido por sus siglas en inglés, CETA (Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement).
Este texto compuesto por 521 páginas, 42 capítulos que abarcan desde la eliminación de aranceles, la regulación sanitaria y fitosanitaria, inversiones, barreras regulatorias, propiedad intelectual, mecanismos de defensa del inversor ISDS, etc.
En el texto se puede observar que el Tratado regula todos los aspectos económicos que inevitablemente tendrán repercusión en la vida diaria de los ciudadanos canadienses y europeos.
Pero quizás el aspecto más significativo de la filtración del documento definitivo que se presentará al Parlamento Europea para su aprobación o denegación sin la posibilidad de presentar enmiendas es que sirve de base para conocer de modo muy aproximado los contenidos del Acuerdo de Comercio e Inversiones, TTIP que se está negociando entre la Unión Europea y los Estados Unidos.
La lectura pormenorizada de este documento nos permitirá mostrar de manera fehaciente las autenticas intenciones de los negociadores europeos y el efecto nocivo que suponen los Tratados de Libre Comercio para la Democracia, los derechos ciudadanos, laborales y medioambientales en favor de los intereses económicos de las transnacionales.
